IMPORTANT INFORMATION –
THIS CAT IS IN A FOSTER HOME IN PAEROA OR CAN ALSO BE SEEN AT WAIHI.
Simba is a 5-6month old tabby, recently rescued by the Humane Society.
Simba has been a wild cat who was dumped and has been trapped only 3 weeks ago. He has come a long way since then.
He is very affectionate and loves people but is still very shy and will need a special person to give him time and patience to bring him out of his shell. Once he gets to know you he is a bundle of joy.
He will most likely get attached to one person and won’t be seen until that one person is around so must go to a quiet household, definitely not suited to a noisy one.
He is very affectionate and loves to play. He also can be easily encouraged with food which is a bonus when he’s feeling shy. With a bit more time he will become a great companion to the right kind hearted person. He loves to be picked up and carried around but still gets scared when you initially advance towards him or reach over.
He is improving every day and soon he won’t even remember he was once wild. This cat deserves a kind loving home and when you meet him he will warm your heart.
Simba has been neutered, vaccinated, deflea’d, wormed and tested FIV negative, so we do ask for a minimum donation of $80 which doesn’t cover all costs.
Our aim is to adopt each cat to a compatible owner. The Humane Society reserves the right to decline any cat adoption application at its discretion.
We do not send animals anywhere sight unseen & need to meet all potential new owners.
