SKODA, an American Bulldog x is an attractive medium sized very lovable goofball, aged around 18 months rearing to find her forever home.
She came to us as an injured puppy. She was successfully treated, however prolonged crate rest meant she was unable to hit all of her socialisation milestones.
Skoda adores people, and her toys, however becomes overly excited when meeting other dogs. She is so intense and boisterous that she is rarely well received
We are seeking a very special home for Skoda with a calm, kind and knowledgeable owner. We will provide ongoing training and support.
She is a project and will need significant daily mental and physical stimulation and is not an off-lead dog on parks/beaches/dog interactions until she becomes calmer.
Auckland applicants only, and no cats/chickens – fencing should be high and solid.
Skoda has been to the vet, been vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and currently registered so we will ask for a minimum DONATION of $200 towards these costs.
If you are interested in adopting her you will need a securely fenced property to keep her contained which a volunteer from the Society will check prior to her being released to her new home.
You will also need to meet her at our foster home in Orewa as we WILL NOT send dogs anywhere and must meet all prospective new owners.
Our aim is to adopt each dog to a compatible owner. The Humane Society reserves the right to decline any dog adoption application at its discretion.
