Jess is an 11 year beagle recently rescued by Humane Society. We have had senior blood tests taken and everything was fine - teeth are very good too.

Jess is a typical beagle who loves her food and sometimes has cloth ears! She loves going for walks and can do a good hour at a time. She is great on lead and off, can wander off because of her cloth ears and following her nose, but is easy to keep up with.

She has got on well with the other dogs and cats in our foster home, but could chase a cat if it ran from her.

She would ideally suit a retired person or couple who still want to go walking but isn't suited to a busy family.

Jess has been to the vet, been checked, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and is currently registered so we will ask for a minimum DONATION of $200 towards these costs.

If you are interested in adopting her, you will need a securely fenced property to keep her contained which a volunteer from the Society will check prior to her being released to her new home.

You will also need to meet her at our foster home in South Auckland as we WILL NOT send dogs anywhere and must meet all prospective new owners.

Our aim is to adopt each dog to a compatible owner. The Humane Society reserves the right to decline any dog adoption application at its discretion.

Please phone or email for more information.
