Pippi is a 9 month old pointer x recently rescued by the Humane Society.

Pippi is a lovely gentle girl who adores her human and will show her affection with cuddles and licks.

She is quite shy and cannot be left on her own as she will panic and try to find her owner, so must go to a home with another dog for company, and preferably an owner who is home during the day.

She loves other dogs and is good with cats who are used to dogs, but would probably be too much for those who are not.

Pippi is brilliant on walks as she stays very close to you, either on or off lead, and does not pull on the lead.

She loves her toys and her food and would benefit from some training to keep her mind engaged.

She does jump up so would not be suitable for young children.

Pippi has been vet-checked, vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and is currently registered so we will ask for a minimum DONATION of $200 towards these costs.

If you are interested in adopting her, you will need a securely fenced property to keep her contained which a volunteer from the Society will check prior to her being released to her new home.

You will also need to meet her at our foster home in East Auckland as we WILL NOT send dogs anywhere and must meet all prospective new owners.

Our aim is to adopt each dog to a compatible owner. The Humane Society reserves the right to decline any dog adoption application at its discretion.
