Tess (photo 1/2) & Fleur 3/4) are 6 month old sisters, recently rescued by Humane Society.

Tess and Fleur need very experienced owners, preferably with chihuahuas who will know what to expect from them and have the knowledge to train them. They would be too much for an older person and would be best rehomed separately.

Tess is 1.8kgs of mischief, very playful and inquisitive. She likes cuddles but is quite independent. She has had no lead or toilet training, but is clean in her crate. Fencing MUST BE absolutely watertight as she can get through a babygate. Her forever home MUST BE WITH NO CHILDREN, CATS OR BIG DOGS.

Fleur is small but agile,is sweet natured and cuddly but has had no lead or toilet training. Fencing needs to be VERY SECURE as she is a climber and a jumper up to 4ft plus. Her forever home must ALSO BE WITH NO CHILDREN, CATS OR BIG DOGS.

Tess & Fleur have been to the vet, been checked, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and are currently registered so we will ask for a minimum DONATION of $200 EACH towards these costs.

If you are interested in adopting either of them, you will need a securely fenced property to keep them contained which a volunteer from the Society will check prior to them being released to their new homes.

You will also need to meet them at our foster home in Orewa as we WILL NOT send dogs anywhere and must meet all prospective new owners.

Our aim is to adopt each dog to a compatible owner. The Humane Society reserves the right to decline any dog adoption application at its discretion.

Please phone or email for more information.
